Academics
The academic results at Bournemouth Collegiate School are strong: in 2022, 22% of A-level grades achieved were A*-A. Students can choose from 25 different subjects, including Product Design, Music Technology, Russian, Sport, Textiles, Chinese, and Psychology. The Sixth Form Centre is a particularly special space for senior students, featuring study corners, a café, and a garden that encourage them to socialise and work together outside the classroom — something the students really enjoy!
Co-curricular Activities
The school offers a wide range of activities including self-defence, yoga, surfing, a book club, and a computer club. Students also enjoy a variety of excursions and trips, both local and international — past destinations have included Corfe Castle, theatre trips to London, and journeys to Iceland. The centre of Bournemouth itself is also a popular spot for an afternoon out, with its famous pier, historic town hall, and ‘Castlepoint’ — the largest shopping retail park in England.
Sport
Bournemouth Collegiate School boasts eight sports academies: Badminton, Basketball, Rugby, Swimming, Tennis, Football, Rowing, and Triathlon, making it exceptionally strong in sport. Facilities include a sports hall, fitness studio, an Olympic-standard basketball court, and pitches for football, netball, rugby, athletics, and volleyball. Thanks to its seaside location, swimming and rowing can even take place in open water. Training is led by experienced coaches, such as Helen Troke, a World Championship bronze medallist in Badminton.
Creative Opportunities
In addition to art, painting, design, drawing, and alternative media, students can get involved in the school musical. The set and costume club combines art and theatre, allowing students to contribute either on stage or behind the scenes. The improvisation club invites students to create and perform their own plays. The school choir, music technology club, band, and pop choir provide plenty of opportunities to make music and develop their own projects. There is also a dance programme offering styles such as salsa, contemporary, and street dance.

Every boarding school has its own character and ethos. Having personally visited more than 100 schools, we understand these nuances. We also work with schools that do not pay commission, ensuring that our advice remains independent and always in the best interest of your child.
Our roots lie in the UK. For years, we have placed 200–300 families annually into British boarding schools. While our portfolio now includes schools beyond Britain, the UK remains at the heart of what we do.
Our tailored approach results in exceptional acceptance rates. For example, in 2022/23, all seven students we placed at the highly selective Malvern College received offers – a 100% success rate.
We arrange for prospective families to speak with our current students to hear first-hand accounts of life at a UK boarding school.
