The Arts
Those passionate about the arts can develop their own styles and interests at the brand-new d’Overbroeck’s Arts Centre, equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The Arts Centre is located in a modern, creative suburb of Oxford, close to the city’s world-famous galleries and art museums, such as Modern Art Oxford. Inspiring, isn’t it? From laser cutters for woodwork to kilns for ceramics, a darkroom, and the latest Adobe software for photo editing — students have the opportunity to work with a wide range of materials and techniques, aiming for higher qualifications or a career in a creative field.
Sport
Sport at d’Overbroeck’s is inclusive, designed to cater to as many interests and abilities as possible. While competitions are part of the programme, the school places more importance on students enjoying themselves and developing a love for an active lifestyle. Particularly impressive is the d’Overbroeck’s Tennis Academy, a specialist programme supporting dedicated tennis players in pursuing their sporting ambitions alongside their studies. Students receive year-round one-to-one coaching at the North Oxford Lawn Tennis Club, just a 15-minute walk from the Sixth Form campus. Other sports on offer include Pilates, climbing, swimming, ice skating, dance and golf.
Academics
Students can complete their (I)GCSE and A Levels here. The Sixth Form currently offers 36 A Level subjects, including Film Studies, Japanese, Sociology and Textiles. On top of that, there’s a lively academic enrichment programme — the so-called Supercurricular Programme — specifically designed for Sixth Formers who wish to explore their interests beyond the standard curriculum. The broad choice of subjects makes d’Overbroeck’s an ideal place for ambitious students keen to achieve their full academic potential while also flourishing outside the classroom.
Enrichment and Leisure
Beyond the classroom, d’Overbroeck’s has much to offer — whether in theatre, music or sport. Over 80 extracurricular activities — from book clubs, anime and debating to crafts — enrich school life. Regular trips and excursions are organised too, most recently to China and Namibia. Many Sixth Formers choose to undertake an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) as part of their academic enrichment. In their free time, students also have access to a range of specialist facilities, including some of the University of Oxford’s sports amenities. The vast majority of extracurricular activities are included at no additional cost.

Our roots lie in the UK. For years, we have placed 200–300 families annually into British boarding schools. While our portfolio now includes schools beyond Britain, the UK remains at the heart of what we do.
Our tailored approach results in exceptional acceptance rates. For example, in 2022/23, all seven students we placed at the highly selective Malvern College received offers – a 100% success rate.
We arrange for prospective families to speak with our current students to hear first-hand accounts of life at a UK boarding school.
