A Nurturing Environment

Pupil wellbeing is at the heart of life at Rendcomb. Every student is assigned a personal tutor who supports both their academic journey and their broader development. The pastoral care here is exceptional, especially for pupils with learning needs, who benefit from discreet, professional support and tailored programmes. For international students, the school provides a dedicated induction day to ensure a smooth and gentle transition into school life.

Creative Arts and the Griffin Theatre

Rendcomb has a national reputation for its creative arts. Music, drama, dance, and visual arts all flourish here, centred around the impressive Griffin Theatre. Students can try their hand at stage management, compose music, create print designs, or even learn traditional skills like bell ringing and animal illustration. Regular trips to museums, galleries, and theatres enrich the curriculum, and the school’s own productions – such as We Will Rock YouThe Crucible, and Les Misérables – are a major highlight of the school year.

Academics and Enrichment

The academic programme is broad and exciting. Alongside core subjects, students can explore theatre studies, photography, and design technology. Tutors closely monitor individual progress, and high-flying mathematicians can attend additional enrichment sessions. Budding artists can work towards the prestigious Gold Arts Award, developing time management, confidence, and independent learning. Students work towards (I)GCSEs and A-levels, with notable success – in 2021, 81% of A-level grades were A*-B.

Our Visit

On our recent visit to Rendcomb, we were warmly welcomed by Jochen Pichler, Head of International Admissions, who guided us around the school. We were particularly impressed by the campus architecture, the inviting theatre, the school’s own chapel, and its high-quality sports facilities. The sense of community and care was tangible.

  • We offer fully tailored advice. Our school recommendations are unique to each child and can run to 40 pages in length.
  • Families receive our 30+ page boarding school guide, packed with practical tips and insights.
  • We prepare your child thoroughly for entrance exams and interviews to maximise their chances of success.
  • We arrange school visits, ensuring you have the opportunity to experience each school first-hand.

Every boarding school has its own character and ethos. Having personally visited more than 100 schools, we understand these nuances. We also work with schools that do not pay commission, ensuring that our advice remains independent and always in the best interest of your child.

Our roots lie in the UK. For years, we have placed 200–300 families annually into British boarding schools. While our portfolio now includes schools beyond Britain, the UK remains at the heart of what we do.

Our tailored approach results in exceptional acceptance rates. For example, in 2022/23, all seven students we placed at the highly selective Malvern College received offers – a 100% success rate.

We arrange for prospective families to speak with our current students to hear first-hand accounts of life at a UK boarding school.
