Few schools in the UK can rival Trinity School’s unique location: nestled on a hillside above the beach in the Devonshire town of Teignmouth, this small and caring co-educational school offers not only impressive academic support but also a wealth of outdoor opportunities – especially in and on the water.
From the main school building, the sea is visible, and it’s just a short walk down to the promenade. With a palm-lined coast and a famously mild climate, it’s no wonder this area is called the English Riviera.
Students at Trinity enjoy life by the sea and make the most of it: sailing, surfing, rowing, diving, swimming and even lifesaving are all part of the sports programme – backed up by the school’s own swimming club, which offers scholarships to boarders.

Sport, Art and Adventure – All Within Reach
Trinity School punches above its weight in sport, with national tournament successes and academies for tennis and indoor cricket. But it also offers a wide array of options beyond the mainstream: fencing, ballet, salsa, climbing and even clay pigeon shooting. Pupils are encouraged to try everything, with expert guidance in small groups.
Beyond the Classroom
Life at Trinity is rich with clubs, challenges and creative outlets. From founding a start-up to learning British Sign Language or exploring chess, poetry, photography or archery, students are encouraged to explore their interests. The school’s mindfulness and stress-management activities – including mandala drawing – speak volumes about its commitment to wellbeing.
Academic
With small class sizes – often fewer than ten pupils – and excellent academic support, Trinity prides itself on knowing each student personally and encouraging them to flourish. Pastoral care is a clear priority, and the school’s Christian foundation is present but inclusive. The school’s three guiding values – Optimism, Confidence, Charity – are woven into daily life. Academic results are strong: in 2020, every A-level student passed, and a third achieved top A*-A grades. One in four pupils went on to study at a top 20 global university. That said, Trinity also values students who pursue vocational pathways, gap years or competitive sport – ambition is supported in many forms.
Art
Art, drama and music are equally well supported. The art studios are light-filled and professionally equipped with kilns and a printing press, and the school regularly wins awards in national art competitions. Music and drama thrive here, with regular concerts, theatre productions and chances to perform at festivals and public events like the Devon County Show.

- We prepare your child thoroughly for entrance exams and interviews to maximise their chances of success.
- We arrange school visits, ensuring you have the opportunity to experience each school first-hand.
Every boarding school has its own character and ethos. Having personally visited more than 100 schools, we understand these nuances. We also work with schools that do not pay commission, ensuring that our advice remains independent and always in the best interest of your child.
Our roots lie in the UK. For years, we have placed 200–300 families annually into British boarding schools. While our portfolio now includes schools beyond Britain, the UK remains at the heart of what we do.
Our tailored approach results in exceptional acceptance rates. For example, in 2022/23, all seven students we placed at the highly selective Malvern College received offers – a 100% success rate.
We arrange for prospective families to speak with our current students to hear first-hand accounts of life at a UK boarding school.
