Worth School sits in an enchanting setting and stands out for its exceptional academic offering as well as its distinctive Wider Curriculum. Pupils here achieve very good above-average IB results.
As a selective school, not every applicant is offered a place — which makes us all the more delighted that all three students who applied in 2024 with our support and preparation were successfully accepted.
This Catholic school enjoys a dreamlike location on a ridge in the green heart of West Sussex. During our visit to the campus, we could really feel how the peaceful, rural setting positively influences the pupils. The school imparts strong values yet remains open to children of all faiths.
At the same time, the school is conveniently located — it takes just 75 minutes to reach the centre of London.

Worth School in Detail
The Wider Curriculum
Worth School is renowned for its Wider Curriculum. This supplementary co-curricular programme offers more than 65 activities, integrated into the timetable at four hours a week. Pupils can focus on a physical activity, developing a particular skill, or contributing to a charitable cause. Choices include creative writing, astronomy, the business book club, film or debating clubs, as well as sports such as mountain biking and climbing. Pupils can also volunteer at the Raystede Centre for animal welfare. Academically ambitious pupils can take part in Oxbridge preparation courses in music, economics, or languages. One particularly exciting option, in our view, is the Young Medics Club — especially suited to those interested in studying medicine.
Sport
Worth School also excels in sport, with pupils regularly achieving success at regional and even international levels — including appearances at the Olympic Games and Junior World Championships. Sports on offer include cricket, football, rugby, athletics, fencing and cross-country running. Aspiring golfers can benefit from a high-level coaching programme, with four sessions a week on the school’s own golf course and at the Tilgate Forest Golf Centre. The school’s extensive facilities include eleven rugby and football pitches, a floodlit artificial pitch, a sports hall, a fencing salle, and a cardiovascular analysis room. Particularly ambitious athletes are supported through the Talented Athlete Support Programme.
Academic
Whether it’s business studies, sports science, Latin, psychology or drama, Worth School is committed to offering a broad and balanced curriculum. The academic results speak for themselves: in 2021, 58% of A-level grades were A*-A, and the average IB score was 36 points (compared to a global average of 33). Looking ahead to life beyond school, pupils benefit from the Career Guidance service, which introduces them to university and the world of work. This is supported by the Worth Society, a network of alumni who act as mentors and share their experiences.
Music and Drama
The school’s theatre group, aptly named Inspire, stages several productions a year in Worth’s wonderful theatre — including, for example, an adaptation of Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Music also plays a prominent role at Worth, with the school fostering a genuine love of music among its pupils. Singing is a central part of community life, with the entire school gathering weekly in the impressive Abbey Church to sing with one of the school choirs. We were also impressed by the 50-strong symphony orchestra.

Our visit
During our visit to Worth School, we were struck by the sheer scale of the 200-acre campus and its magnificent main building. Surrounded by verdant countryside, the grounds create a calm and serene environment where pupils can mature and thrive. The Christian ethos is tangible, providing a strong set of values to guide pupils through their daily lives. We were also impressed by the modern facilities, which reflect the school’s progressive spirit and the quality of its teaching. We found the community to be warm and welcoming — we felt immediately at ease and well looked after during our time there.

Every boarding school has its own character and ethos. Having personally visited more than 100 schools, we understand these nuances. We also work with schools that do not pay commission, ensuring that our advice remains independent and always in the best interest of your child.
Our roots lie in the UK. For years, we have placed 200–300 families annually into British boarding schools. While our portfolio now includes schools beyond Britain, the UK remains at the heart of what we do.
Our tailored approach results in exceptional acceptance rates. For example, in 2022/23, all seven students we placed at the highly selective Malvern College received offers – a 100% success rate.
We arrange for prospective families to speak with our current students to hear first-hand accounts of life at a UK boarding school.
